Southern Crescent Technical College is committed to ensuring that a lack of English language skills does not serve as a barrier to admission and participation in our Career and Technical Education (CTE) program offerings. As a result, we will take steps to provide support and resources to help non-native English speakers succeed in our programs, such as offering English language classes, providing translation and interpretation services, and offering other language assistance as needed. We believe that diversity and inclusivity are key to the success of our CTE programs, and we welcome students from all backgrounds and language abilities.
Individuals 16 years of age or older or dually/jointly enrolled high school students in the 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grades who seek access to quality instruction at the postsecondary level. Applicants must note that completion of the admission steps listed does not guarantee acceptance into some programs of study. Minimum admission test score requirements and other admission criteria must be met.
While Southern Crescent Technical College does not require vaccinations or record of immunization for admissions, proof of certain vaccinations and immunization records are required after admission for some programs, where students would be doing clinical externships in childcare or medical facilities.
