Career Services is dedicated to supporting our students in reaching their educational life goals by promoting their academic career development and transfer to a four-year institution. To achieve this, we provide resources, activities, and services that encourage life-long learning and career/transfer success. We are eager to establish and cultivate relationships with institutions that are interested in SCTC graduates with associate degrees to transfer seamlessly into their four-year college or university.
An Information Table is an opportunity for representatives to have a one-on-one conversation with students in an informal environment. This offers an excellent way to recruit for students in any program. We will provide a table in the main corridor of Building 200 on the Griffin campus or in Building B on the Henry Campus. Your visit will be promoted to students beforehand if it is scheduled at least three weeks before the date of the visit.
Lunch and Learns are great for institutions that are looking to recruit students in a specific program. These sessions provide you with the opportunity to share an overview about your institution along with degree pathways that are offered. Representatives get a chance to meet and talk with students afterward. The Career Services office will notify students of your event through on-campus ads, social media postings, TIGERLINK, and other informational outlets.
