Scholarship Description:
A $1000 scholarship awarded for tuition and/or the purchase of program-required textbook and tools, uniforms, equipment, and/or supplies for a student in Auto Technology, Auto Collision, or another automobile related program. The student must be enrolled in a for-credit, certificate, diploma, or degree program.

Student Certification, Authorization, and Agreement

Information Release: As a scholarship applicant, I hereby release information contained on this application as well as my financial aid applications and academic transcripts to the Foundation Scholarship Review Committee. In addition, I waive my right to access and review confidential recommendations acquired for purposes of determining and granting this scholarship. I understand that this information will be used solely for the purpose of selecting scholarship recipients and will not be used by the college for any other purpose. I understand that the scholarship may be denied if any information reported on this application is found to be intentionally misleading or inaccurate. I further understand and have read the Disqualification Policy and agree to fulfill my financial responsibility to the Foundation should the scholarship be disqualified.

Disqualification Policy: If the student withdraws or drops a class at any time or for any reason during the semester which results in the student no longer having at least part-time status and/or the student does not complete the semester, the student should contact the Advancement Office immediately. The student may be responsible for re-payment to the Foundation. If payment is not made by the student, the College will place a “hold” on the student’s record, and the student will be ineligible for this scholarship in the future.

Media Release: I give permission to Southern Crescent Technical College and the Technical College System of Georgia and Georgia Automobile Dealers Association to use my name, quotes and photographic likeness in all forms and media for advertising, trade and other lawful purposes to promote the College, its activities, clubs or organizations for any educational or marketing use. I understand that there will be no compensation for any such use.
