Procter & Gamble (P&G) has donated $15,000 to the Southern Crescent Technical College Foundation (SCTC) to enhance its Logistics, Automation, and Process Control & Instrumentation Systems (PC&IS) programs.
This contribution will directly fund equipment upgrades, student competitions, and enhanced learning opportunities, helping to prepare students for careers in these critical fields. P&G remains committed to investing in education and workforce development, ensuring students have access to the resources needed for success.
P&G, located in Butts County, operates the Southeast Fulfillment Center and is eager to partner with SCTC on workforce training initiatives. By working together, P&G and SCTC aim to strengthen the talent pipeline for high-demand industries, providing students with the skills and hands-on experience needed for rewarding careers.
“This generous contribution from P&G will have a tremendous impact on our students and programs,” said Dr. Irvin Clark, President of Southern Crescent Technical College. “Investments like these allow us to enhance our training capabilities, ensuring that students gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant equipment and are well-prepared to meet workforce demands.
