Date Posted: April 7, 2025

The Southern Crescent Technical College (SCTC) Foundation awarded 56 scholarships totaling $26,254.29 for students enrolled at SCTC for Summer 2025 semester. 29 of those scholarships awarded were from the college’s annual Internal Tiger Campaign. Tiger Campaign scholarships are funded through contributions from the SCTC faculty and staff. 27 external scholarships were awarded and those are funded through contributions from business partners, foundations and generous donors within our service community, as well as SCTC faculty and staff for program-specific scholarships not included in the Internal Tiger Campaign.

On March 25, the SCTC Foundation hosted an inaugural Scholarship Luncheon, a brand-new celebration dedicated to honoring our Summer 2025 scholarship recipients. This exciting event brought together students, staff, and donors to recognize academic achievements and the generosity of those who make these scholarships possible. Our Foundation Board Chair, Jack Bowdoin, delivered an inspiring message and extended heartfelt congratulations on behalf of the board, encouraging students to seize every opportunity on their journey to success.
